Nelson In Common Update December 29, 2021

“No one plans to work on Christmas”

A big Thank You to our road crew for being out there on Christmas Day.

Over 40 people gathered outside the Nelson Congregational Church for a Christmas Eve service (also, several people Zoomed in). The mood was joyful and peaceful, enhanced by firelight and candlelight, and a bearable temperature. The evening’s offering of over $400 will be matched by the Church, and donated to Keene-based Feeding Tiny Tummies.

Town Meeting 2021

Community Service

Nelson In Common often points to the creative energy that powers Nelson. But our town is also enriched by the dedication of the many people who serve on the various boards and committees. Now is the time to be considering whether you might be interested in serving in this capacity. The work loads vary by position, but it is very rewarding, and a chance to contribute to the well-being of our town. Candidates may file during designated hours through January 28, for the election, which will be on Tuesday, March 8. See the details .  .  .
