For several decades the Grapevine-2 has served as the community newsletter for Nelson and Munsonville. With the discontinuation of that publication, The Black Fly Quarterly steps in to provide a print publication. This newsletter will evolve, based on reader input, and we will hope for reader ideas and contributions for articles, photos, etc.
If you have been receiving the Grapevine, then you will be receiving the Black Fly Quarterly, as we are inheriting the Grapevine mailing list.

The Black Fly Quarterly also accepts advertising, in business-card size. This provides some helpful revenue to Nelson in Common, but also gives local businesses exposure to a very local audience. Plus, our local businesses are really part of the community, so it further conveys what we are all about.
The cool thing – these ads will also be displayed (tastefully) on this website.
