Art Show: Toby Osherson and Julie Snow Osherson

Toby Osherson and Julie Snow Osherson will share a show at the Old Library Art Gallery over Labor Day weekend, September 2-6. The opening will be on September 4th from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Julie and Sam Osherson started coming to Nelson in 1977 as summer folks at Tolman Pond, moving to live up here permanently in 1992. Toby is a proud graduate of the Nelson Elementary School!
Julie has spent most of her creative career as a songwriter, but discovered mixed media in an art class 10 years ago and has been making pieces ever since. Many of her newest pieces are on 10×10 canvasses and she likes to think of them as “story pieces” or even possible CD covers.
Toby began creating his vibrant alcohol ink drawings several years ago and this will be his first gallery show. He creates intricate abstract drawings that feel simultaneously engineered and organic. His compositions invite viewers to slow down, explore, and uncover their own meanings within a world of interconnected forms.
